Why We Built This Alliance
The Northern Virginia Dementia Support & Workplace Alliance was born from a simple truth: dementia doesn't stay at home when a caregiver goes to work. It follows them, and workplaces aren't prepared.
Our Mission
A Preventative Wellness Initiative
The NVDSA initiative is a program of My Natural Me, a Manassas-based nonprofit dedicated to holistic wellness and community health in Northern Virginia.
Our mission is to reduce caregiver stress, improve workplace outcomes for caregiver employees, and build a network of dementia-informed employers and community organizations across Prince William County and the surrounding region.
This initiative is made possible through the Howard L. Greenhouse Grant from the Potomac Health Foundation, supporting the 2026–2027 program year.

Serve 100–150 caregivers and partner with 5–10 employers in our first grant year.
